Amit Mor specializes in all aspects of civil and administrative litigation, with a special emphasis on all aspects of commercial law, insurance law, and banking law. Mr. Mor plays a key role in our firm’s extensive practice in handling complex diamond insurance and recovery claims of all sizes, as well as the full range of Jewelers Block (JB) Policies’ issues. Moreover, Mr. Mor focuses on representing banks and insurance companies in mortgage-related insurance litigation and providing legal advice to pension funds, especially as it relates to their relations with the insured and re-insurers. Mr. Mor also holds the position of head of the media law division in the firm. He has unique expertise in representing both local and international music producers and promoters in strategic partnerships and productions and represents Israeli rock stars and talents. Mr. Mor has proudly advised on the legal aspects involved in bringing leading artists such as the Rolling Stones, Madonna, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Santana, Cirque Du Soleil, and Barbra Streisand to Israel. Over the years, Mr. Mor had obtained expertise in all aspects of administrative law, advising national and multinational clients on matters such as public tenders and executive acts and representing them in administrative petitions filed with the court.
Mr. Mor is also quite heavily involved in community work. He holds the position of honorary President of one of the largest legal pro-bono organizations in Israel, “Halev”, through which more than 250 law students and 100 lawyers provide free legal assistance to low socio-economic sectors. He also served as the Chairman of this organization between 2005 and 2010. During that time, the organization received the President of Israel Award for Volunteers in 2002, the Honor Award for Outstanding Social Service for 2007, and the Honor Award for Social Activity from the Israel Bar Association in 2010.
Mr. Mor also remains closely tied to academia. He currently hosts two labor-law-related legal clinics at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and Netanya Academic College and moderated the legal aid workshop initiated by “Meshane”, the unit for legal aid and social involvement at the Israeli College of Management, from 2006 through 2010.
