Mr. Brandes has particular expertise in sophisticated international commercial transactions and complex high-tech issues. He initiated the firm’s involvement in the high-tech field many years prior to it becoming the central pillar of Israel’s economy, and today the firm enjoys a worldwide reputation for its corporate and high-tech practice. Mr. Brandes has advised on some of Israel’s largest and most complex international commercial transactions. His clients include Israel’s leading public and private companies. Mr. Brandes also advises various government agencies and governmental companies.

Mr. Brandes served as the chairman of the hi-tech committee of the Israel Bar Association, as a member of the Board of Governors of the Tel-Aviv University, and as a member of both the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art.

Mr. Brandes also served as a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Exemptions Committee established pursuant to Israel’s Restrictive Trade Practices Law between December 1999 and December 2008 (the maximum period allowed by law). He is a member of the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
