Omry Rotem is a partner at Naschitz Brandes Amir and heads the firm's Kibbutz Shamir office. He joined the firm in 2023 after the merger with Shenhav, Konforti, Rotem & Co. (SKR), where he served as a Senior Partner and Founder of SKR's northern office.

 

Mr. Rotem specializes in commercial law, with a focus on complex M&A transactions both in Israel and abroad, particularly in the Kibbutzim & Moshavim sector. He also has extensive expertise in renewable energy transactions, such as wind turbines, solar energy, energy storage, and hydroelectric facilities, among others. As a result, Mr. Rotem has provided legal counsel on numerous renewable energy projects, earning a reputation as a knowledgeable and respected attorney in the field.

 

Mr. Rotem's extensive experience and in-depth understanding of the economic and business issues facing the Kibbutzim and Moshavim industries stems from his leadership roles within this sector. He has held various top positions over the years, including serving as the chairman of the holding company of Kibbutz Shamir, which is one of the leading kibbutzim in Israel. In addition, Mr. Rotem has been an active chairman of the Shamir Optical Group, an international group formerly traded on NASDAQ and jointly held by Kibbutz Shamir and the optical firm EssilorLuxottica until August 2022. He also served as a director of The Kibbutz Economies Group (Mishkei Hakibbutzim), a holding company for the primary commercial activities in the Kibbutzim sector. Mr. Rotem has held various other positions as well, including chairman and director in numerous corporations.

 

Mr. Rotem's extensive client roster includes various leading factories and corporations that are owned by top kibbutzim and operate in the industrial and agricultural sectors.
