Uri Eger is a partner in the firm’s Corporate Group and leads its FoodTech and Culinary Industry practice. He counsels clients in the FoodTech, AgriTech, food and beverage, and culinary sectors, including chefs, restaurant groups, food and beverage companies, agricultural cooperatives and AgriTech ventures operating in Israel and abroad.
Mr. Eger’s work in these sectors includes corporate structuring, franchising, retail expansion, financing arrangements, commercial partnerships, and cross-border transactions in Israel and Europe. His broader corporate practice includes representing entrepreneurs, companies at various stages of growth, and investors in venture capital investments, financings, commercial agreements, strategic collaborations, and other significant corporate matters. Mr. Eger’s experience spans a wide range of industries, including technology, real estate, hotels and hospitality, kibbutzim and cooperative societies, defense tech, and manufacturing.
In addition to his principal legal practice, Mr. Eger provides pro bono counsel to Freshpaint, one of Israel’s leading platforms for contemporary art and design.
- Advised Chef Assaf Granit, Chef Uri Navon and co-owned “Machneyuda” Group on the establishment and management of restaurant projects and culinary ventures in Israel, London, and Paris. Advised on catering arrangements for a number of leading technology companies in Israel, including Wix, Lightriks, and Rapyd.
- Advised Chef Yossi Shitrit on the opening and operation of his marquee Tel-Aviv restaurant HIBA and other culinary ventures.
- Advised Chef Moshik Roth on the establishment of culinary ventures, events, and catering services for a number of hi-tech companies, including Amdocs, and many others.
- Advised Mishkey Netter Limited Partnership, entrepreneurship hub for Ag-Tech, Food-Tech, Clean-Tech companies. Advised Mishkey Hanegev and Mishkey Hadarom on a $5 million fundraise.
- Representation of Lemna Tech, a leading intelligence Food-Tech startup, in equity financing and general corporate matters.
- Advised Headstart in financing and establishing Freshpaint - the annual art and design event.
- Advise Negev Produce, an international and domestic exporter of fresh agricultural goods on general corporate matters.
- Advised Yoran, a leading Industrial inline thermal imaging AI & big data company on a $2.5 million Series A financing round and its general corporate work.
- Represented Minene and its shareholders in the sale of the company's shares to Shilav, a subsidiary of TASE-listed Fox-Wizel.
- Provides ongoing counsel to the Netter Center, supporting entrepreneurs developing solutions in the AgriFood and ClimateTech sectors.
