Amit Mor focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation, with a special emphasis on commercial, insurance, and banking law. In addition, he specializes in libel law and “gag” orders and acts for leading media companies in Israel.

 

Amit represents companies and stakeholders in complex corporate and commercial disputes. He also plays a key role in handling complex diamond insurance and recovery claims of all sizes, as well as the full range of Jewelers Block (JB) Policies’ issues. Additionally, Amit has substantial experience in representing banks and insurance companies in mortgage-related insurance litigation and providing legal advice to pension funds, especially with regard to their relations with policyholders and (re)insurers. Moreover, Amit represents and advises large-scale multinational companies both in day-to-day legal issues and litigation.

 

Amit holds the position of head of Media & Entertainment in the firm. His client roster includes international music producers and promoters and a diverse bench of Israeli talents. He advised on the legal aspects of organizing Israeli tours of leading music bands and entertainers, including the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Santana, Cirque Du Soleil, and Barbra Streisand.

 

Over the years, Amit has developed strong expertise in all aspects of administrative law, advising national and multinational clients on matters such as public tenders and executive acts and representing them in administrative petitions filed with the court.

 

Amit is heavily involved in community work. Between 2005 and 2010 he served as the Chairman of “Halev” (“The Heart”), one of the largest legal pro-bono organizations in Israel which provides free legal assistance to individuals of low socio-economic status. Today, Amit is one of the executives in the organization. Since 2021, Amit has been holding the position of Head of the Exceptions Committee with the Israeli Bar Association Pro-Bono Project. He is also an active member of the firm’s Pro-Bono Committee.

  • Representing Chef Assaf Granit and Machneyuda Group in all aspects of media, entertainment, and disputes (commercial and legal).
  • Representing TLV Lounge (“Mixer”) and Next in all legal aspects of their activity.
  • Representing Chef Yossi Shitrit in legal disputes.
  • Successfully represented some American citizens in a multi-million USD real estate dispute, regarding heirs’ dispute related to a transaction executed some 60 years ago.
  • Representing Reshet 13 libel law and gag orders in various claims, including before the Supreme Court in precedent cases.
  • Successfully represented Verso Israel LLC and Verso America LLC in a multi-million NIS interlocutory injunction and still representing these two Florida-based companies in three commercial claims regarding material breaches of agreements, misappropriation, and infringement of IP, and enforcement of foreign arbitration award (from Florida, USA) in Israel.
  • Representing DSV (Israel) shipping company in shareholders dispute and legal aspects of a transaction with former shareholders.
  • representing diamond dealers and insurance companies in complex diamond-related claims, including JB Insurance Policies’ complicated issues.
  • representing PCB Technologies Ltd. in all its legal proceedings in various commercial issues, including agreements breaches disputes, real estate disputes, and insurance-related matters.
  • Representing various companies and individuals, from different industries, in complicated shareholder disputes.
  • Representing Royal Caribbean Group and ClubMed in various legal cases and consumer class actions.
  • Successfully represented Pharmalogic Holdings Corp. in a petition to revoke an ex-jurisdiction service of a claim against a foreign company.
