Oberman

Partner Gilad Oberman co-heads the firm’s Zemach office. He joined Naschitz Brandes Amir in 2025, following its merger with Shlomo Cohen & Co., where Gilad served as co-head of the Commercial Law Department and led the firm’s work with nonprofit clients.

Gilad’s practice focuses on commercial law, with particular expertise in a broad range of commercial transactions, primarily within the kibbutzim, cooperative societies, and agricultural sectors. He has handled complex structural and organizational changes in kibbutzim and has extensive experience in the voluntary liquidation of various corporate entities. Gilad also provides ongoing counsel on regulatory matters and advises on issues relating to cooperative associations, maintaining close working relationships with the Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Associations. A substantial portion of his practice is devoted to designing and implementing profit distribution frameworks for kibbutz members, including the restructuring of existing arrangements.

A member of Kibbutz Lavi, Gilad offers a unique combination of business acumen and hands-on management experience. Earlier in his career, he worked in software development, systems analysis, and development management, primarily within the financial, industrial, and kibbutzim & cooperative societies sectors, at the Zemach Heshev software house (now Maxsoft), part of Zemach Regional Enterprises.

Gilad brings extensive business experience from his leadership roles as CEO of Kibbutz Lavi and Kibbutz Beit Rimon, and as Chairman of Lavi Hotel and Kibbutz Beit Rimon’s business sector. He has also served as a director for various corporations, including Of Tov, Zemach Regional Enterprises, Maxsoft, Lavi Furniture Industries, Netofa Dairy, and Tabor Tools.

Gilad has extensive experience in various leadership roles within his kibbutz, having served as CEO, HR Manager, and Chair of several committees, including the Nominations, Professional Development, and Audit Committees.
