Liad Sider heads the firm's Kibbutzim & Cooperative Societies Industry Group. Liad concentrates his practice on corporate and commercial law with a particular focus on the rural sector, kibbutzim, moshavim, and cooperative associations. Liad is considered one of the pioneers and leading experts in Israel in strategic restructuring and reorganization of the new Kibbutzim, which also includes assets allocation procedures to their members (including residential and manufacturing assets).

 

Liad regularly represents dozens of Kibbutzim in all areas of their activities with regard to both the social and community aspects, pensions, acceptance of new members and demographic growth, education, as well as in commercial and corporate aspects, including various aspects of membership of cooperative associations, the rights and obligations of association members, and their relationship with the association, formulating and implementing complex and ongoing measures for carrying out structural changes in Kibbutzim and handling the various derivative procedures associated therewith.

 

Liad is involved in establishing cooperative associations, drawing up their articles of association, closely accompanying their activities, and providing them with ongoing counsel and advice on a wide range of commercial, corporate and administrative matters, including representation of the kibbutzim-owned factories plants in a wide variety of commercial transactions and in various financial arrangements.

 

Liad also advises clients on all aspects relating to real estate law. He has extensive experience in negotiating complex transactions in various fields of real estate, including lease and sale of commercial and residential property, development, construction projects, and conversion of rural and agricultural land to residential and industrial land.

 

Liad joined the firm in 2022. Prior to that, he was a senior partner in Lamay Sider Rahat Tsiddon Fink, Advocates & Notaries for over 20 years.
