Naschitz Brandes Amir Advises Volumez on $20 Million Series A

On April 19, 2023, cloud infrastructure company Volumez, announced the closing of a $20 million Series A financing round led by Koch Disruptive Technologies, with participation from existing investors Viola Ventures and Pitango. 

 

The funding will enable Volumez to further expand its business operations in the U.S. and grow its customer base, all while maintaining its R&D efforts in Israel. The company, which currently employs 36 people in both Israel and the U.S., specializes in developing controller orchestration software for modern data infrastructure workloads. Their innovative technology is based on Linux and utilizes a declarative interface, making it simple to deploy a broad range of applications in both hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

 

The Naschitz Brandes Amir hi-tech team that advised Volumez on the transaction included partners Tal Eliasaf, Itay Deutsch, and associate Orel Yacobi. Counsel was also provided on intellectual property matters by partner and IP practice head, Asa Kling.
