Ido Erlich is a partner in the firm's Corporate and M&A Group. Ido has extensive experience advising global and domestic companies in all stages of development, from formation, through financing, building strategic partnerships, supporting go-to-market executions, and all the way to acquisition and beyond. Ido also represents venture capital funds, private equity firms, corporate venture arms, and other investment institutions in their investments in early-stage and growth companies.

 

Ido has been with Naschitz Brandes Amir since his internship in 2006. Between 2013 and 2014, he was on secondment with the finance department of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in London, during which time he represented Zim Integrated Shipping Services in the restructuring of its financing and capital markets financings, which involved $2.3 billion debt restructuring and debt for equity swap. Reported as the largest debt restructuring in Israel’s history, the transaction has won a number of awards, including "Restructuring Deal of the Year" at the M&A Advisor 2014 Dealmakers' Awards and the Marine Money Awards 2015.

 

Ido was named one of the top 40 Under 40 professionals in Israel by Globes (Israel’s business newspaper) in 2015.

  • Representation of the Israeli Government Companies Authority (GCA) in the strategic $500 million privatization of the Israeli Military Industries, effected through a complex M&A auction and sold to NASDAQ-listed Elbit Systems, which was the first privatization of a military industry company in Israel and the second largest privatization ever accomplished in Israel.
  • Representation of one of Israel's leading fashion groups comprising Hoodies, Urbanica, TopTen, Carolina Lemke, Accessorize Israel, and its shareholders in a series of transactions valued at approximately NIS 500 million, under which the aforementioned companies have been fully acquired by TASE-listed Castro Model Ltd.
  • Representation of Driivz in its approximately $200 million acquisition by Vontier, and in its financing rounds led by Centrica, Inven, Ombu, and Volvo.
  • Representation of the shareholders of SAL Group, one of Israel's leading marketers of construction and infrastructure equipment in the 70% equity sale to funds Sky and Kedma under a company valuation of NIS 280 million.
  • Representation of Japan Israel High Tech Ventures LP, including its formation and in all its investments including ReMilk, Moodify, Foretellix, Ridge, Xtend, Amai, Xtrodes, and Hoopo.
  • Representation of Opus Chartered Issuances SA in all its investments in Israel, including the investments in ZSquare, Pepticom, InnerEye, Trobix, Qart, and SolCold.
  • Representation of Viola Ventures in its investments in Taranis, Splacer, EverC, Foundational Data, and more.
  • Representation of Pitango in its investments in Lumen and HomeThrive.
  • Representation of StoreDot in its $62 million round C equity financing and its $66 million round D equity financing.
  • Representation of Pentera in its $50 million round C equity financing.
  • Representation of Otorio since its inception, including its Joint Venture with Andritz.
