Ram Pardes is a partner in the Tel-Aviv office of Naschitz Brandes Amir, where he specializes in complex, high-stakes legal proceedings. Ram has extensive experience in civil litigation, local and international arbitration, class actions, administrative law, insurance law, and political parties law.

 

Ram is used to acting in high-end, intricate domestic and cross-border litigation, including some of the largest disputes the firm is handling now.

 

Ram frequently provides pro-bono legal counsel to non-profit organizations. He is also the Chairman of the internal tribunal of the Israeli Labour Party and a member of the Ethics Committee of the Israeli Law Bar—Tel Aviv District.

 

During his legal studies, Ram served as an editor of the IDC Law Review, teaching assistant to Prof. Amnon Rubinstein, and participated in “Halev”, a non-profit organization aimed at providing basic legal assistance for low-income individuals and other disenfranchised groups as the coordinator of its activities at the Tel-Aviv Labor Court.

  • Successfully represented Alfa Duty-Free Sàrl on an ICC arbitration in excess of US$360 million involving allegations of collusion in a public tender, fraud, and breach of competition law.
  • Representing one of the largest construction and civil engineering companies in Israel in an ICC arbitration in a dispute arising out of delays in the construction of a power plant in Israel.
  • Representing Iveco in defending a certification of a class action with respect to alleged participation, together with Scania AB, MAN, Renault, Volvo, Daimler, and DAF, in a global cartel for fixing truck prices.
  • Successfully represented Harel Insurance in an administrative petition regarding a tender published by NTA for the insurance of the light rail infrastructure and systems.
  • Representing Chevron in a claim brought by Haifa Port alleging entitlement to multi-million USD fees following the establishment of the “Leviathan” natural gas production platform.
  • Advising a major international manufacturer with regard to a circa US$ 32 million international arbitration.
  • Successfully representing a corporate client in the defense industry on an ICC arbitration relating to breach of contract in the sum of multi-million USD.
  • Advising and representing various companies in complicated shareholder disputes.
  • Advising and representing various insurers in D&O insurance cases.
  • Representing various companies in consumer and insurance class actions.
